Postmortem: Emmanuel Frias


For this project, I was in charge of the customers and coding of the customers. (Programmer) I also did animation blueprints for the customer.

I actually forgot to take a look at the project board, so I'm not sure how many hours was expected. I really put in much time programming however. I definitely should have done more with the code for the customers and fix more errors (making sure they can go to the register at any moment for example.

The most difficult part for me was trying to find tutorials for what I was looking for. Most unreal tutorial videos tend to just focus on combat based RPGs, hardly any tutorials for making a customer npc in a shopping game. Nonetheless, I managed to figure something out with enemy tracking tutorials.

I'm not sure if I learned anything new, but I do have a better understanding of creating NPCs. I did learn a bit about creating animation blueprints as well.
